The long forgotten 23cms beacon is still operational at (Zouches Farm) IO91RV. It is using an Alford slot and reported to be sending the morse ident: GB3DUN. Power out is reported in the callbook as 2 watts.
The last known beacon keeper was R. Penberthy, G3ZFP, Studham.


 

 

GB3TV

GB3TV is situated on Dunstable Downs at 210 metres above mean sea level.


Input Frequency 1249 MHz : Output Frequency 1318.5 MHz , The pa is a '20 watt block' throttled back to about 12 watts and the antennas are full wave, silver plated Alford slots protected by some plastic drain pipe!

Access is achieved with a video signal with reasonable line syncs and a video level above black level. ie fading to black will cause the repeater to drop out.
